Movie Review: The Butler

As Cecil Gaines serves eight presidents during his tenure as a butler at the White House, the civil rights movement, Vietnam, and other major events affect this man's life, family, and American society.

This movie is a must see if you haven't already. The cast of this film was awesome. I went through an emotional rollercoaster viewing this epic film. I felt the pain of slavery, death, abandonment, lost, struggle, racism, brokenness, loneliness, dysfunction, and pride.

I never want to really dig into the past especially the struggles of racism - but this movie place you in the heart of the struggle from every side of unfairness and uncertainty of life as black man as well as whites in power.
Sad to say the struggle still lives on --- don't be ignorant!
Check out the movie and let your voices be heard.
