TALK ABOUT IT
IT'S AMAZING HOW OUR ORGANS PLAY A PART IN OUR EVERYDAY LIFE DECISIONS... FOLLOW ME
THE HEART, THE MOUTH, THE EYES, AND THE BRAIN - CAN BE GATEWAYS FOR SOME SERIOUS TROUBLE.
THE HEART CAN BE FILLED WITH LOVE OR MALICE SO BE CAREFUL IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS. JEREMIAH 17:9 "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?"
THE MOUTH CAN SPEAK WITH KIND WORDS OR HATRED SO BE CAREFUL IT CAN BE DANGEROUS.Matthew 12:34
You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks.
THE EYES CAN SEE VISIONS AND SEE CLEARLY AND SOMETIMES BE BLINDED BY DARKNESS SO BE CAREFUL FOR THEY CAN BE DANGEROUS. Matthew 14:30 "But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Peter did walk on the water, not sinking an inch. But when Peter took His eyes off Jesus and began to focus on the stormy sea of Galilee and the rushing winds, he sunk. It's not a mere coincidence that God put this incredible event in the inspired Scriptures for us to read. God wants every Christian to learn the importance of keeping our mind and heart focused upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE BRAIN CAN THINK AND IMAGE GREATNESS BUT IT ALSO CAN CONJURE UP EVIL THOUGHTS AND IMAGINATION SO BE CAREFUL IT CAN BE DANGEROUS. Idleness means you have not particular goal in mind and thus you can be easily distracted. Warning is given about supporting young widows from the church's funds because leaves the woman with little to do. "And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not" (I Timothy 5:13). For this same cause, all Christians are commanded to work. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread" (II Thessalonians 3:10-12). Philippians 4:8 "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
SO WHAT DID YOU CHOOSE TODAY?
