Look I am going to say this as polite as I can. This is coming from a person who love kids and I hope I will have some of my own. It breaks my heart to see some of these parents in the best of things and their kids look like rag dolls. Parents have you can spend money on clothes, shoes, accessories, and getting your hair fly, PLEASE INVEST THAT TIME IN YOUR KIDS TOO!
Is this becoming an epidemic? It makes me sick to my stomach when your kids look like their homeless, haven't taken a bath in months, ashy, we not going to even discuss their hair.
Now parents they didn't ask to come into the world. Now we always say the kids are the future but do we really believe that? I can't tell by how you treat them. They are small human beings that deserve our love, affection, and attention. So parents if you are not willing to give your all for your children....
DON'T HAVE ANY OR STOP HAVE THEM! Let's be real you know your limit. If you struggled with 2 why have more. I'm just saying.
But what take the cake is the hygiene. Do you go outside with crust on your face, or dried up snot? I know the answer... So why let your kids look like that. Children are a blessing and we have been treating them like they are burden. Please I beg of you parents there are still people in this world who care.... AND SO SHOULD YOU!

Teen Behavior Problems
Is your teenager rebelling, defying you, or hanging out with questionable kids?
If so what are you going to do about it?
I'm old enough to make my own decisions... Your Teen Seems To Hate You
Experts say: As the parent, you need to stay calm and try to weather this teenage rebellion phase, which usually passes by the time a child is 16 or 17.
But no one's saying your teen should be allowed to be truly nasty or to curse at you; when this happens, you have to enforce basic behavior standards. One solution is the good, old-fashioned approach of: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." By letting your teenager know that you're here for him no matter what, you make it more likely that he'll let down his guard and confide in you once in a while, which is a rare treat.
Did you say something? Communication Devices Rule Their Lives
Experts say: One good way to limit how many minutes your teen spends talking on his cell and texting: Require him to pay his own cell phone bills. And do your best to monitor what your child does when he's online, particularly if he or she is using networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. You still own the home and computer -- so check into parental Internet controls and software to monitor use of any questionable web sites.
I'm not a kid anymore. Staying Out Too Late
Experts say: If it seems like your child is staying out late because she's up to no good, or doesn't feel happy at home, then you need to talk with her and figure out what might be going on. However, if your curfew is in line with what's typical in your teen's crowd, then it's time to set consequences and then enforce them if your teen continues to break your rules. When you make a rule, you have to mean it. You can't bluff teenagers -- they will always call you on it.
You just don't understand. Hanging Out with Kids You Don't Like
Experts say: if you know that your child has taken up with a group of troubled teens who skip school and do drugs, a talk is in order. "Without putting him on the defensive, tell your child you're concerned about who he's hanging out with and that you're worried he's doing drugs," says Bartell. While you can't forbid your child to hang around with certain kids, you can intervene and try to nip dangerous behaviors in the bud. Don't be afraid to ask for professional help about hanging out with a crowd engaged in negative behavior. Counseling or family therapy can help.
Ain't nobody got time for this. Everything's a Drama
Experts say: What happens is that kids feel misunderstood, and eventually they will stop telling you anything. Right now it is the most important thing in the world that her best friend is flirting with her boyfriend, and you need to take it seriously."
Don't offer advice, disparage her friends or try to minimize it by saying that one day she'll see how silly high school romances are. "Just listen and sympathize," says Bartell. And put yourself in her position -- because, after all, you were once there yourself.
And if all else fails: Parents go to God first and He will direct your path on how to deal with your teenagers.. Matter fact before anything fails go to the MASTER FIRST.

The power of shaping
We as parents, I don't think we really realize we are shaping our children's futures daily. They are like clay and putty in our hands and we shape it daily. Do we let them dry out baked in the sun with no refreshing encouragement or love? Do we let it sit there and do nothing - allow them to watch tv and play video games all day? Do we mix the material with other things that really don't belong in clay - we allow them to choose their own friends and do things that can bring harm to themselves? Do we only pick up the clay when we feel like it - we allow them to raise themselves - learned skills from friends, enemies, and the world...
Shaping clay into a masterpiece takes time and devotion. Do you have the patience? Do you have the vision from God? Can you put forth your best effort in developing this beautiful masterpiece?
I hope you can because Our children really need shaping in order to get to a better future.

Are we making our kids co-dependent?
Are we making ours kids co dependent instead of independent?
I'm not sure where the idea came from that because my parents struggled or didn't have much - when I have children I'm going to give them the world..
Topic: To what and to who's expense?
I know we want to give our kids the best and to give them opportunities we didn't have but to what expense do we sacrifice. We know parents who give their kids everything they ask for - even if we really can't afford it. We know parents who justify being a workaholic as a mean to shower their kids with things instead of being there for them. We know parents that reward their kids for just doing the bare minimum.
When we are showering/spoiling our kids with all these things are we teaching and showing them to value their gifts? Are we teaching and showing them the value of hard work? Are we pushing our kids to be the best and do their best? Or if it gets hard and you face adversity to run from it and I'll shower you with a treat.
This world doesn't care about your kids. If it did we wouldn't have to put into law no child left behind when really they are left behind. Let me work hard for you so you can have a better life - Its so many issues are kids are dealing with but who's , taking the time to listen, or go find out. I remember everyday was questions about school and what's going on in my world. I was not ALLOWED to bring home nothing lower than a B or it was hell to pay. I had chores, I worked, I watched my siblings, I helped in the community, and I was very active in church. My parents worked, my community, my church, and my family helped to raise me. I didn't get everything I asked for and I didn't even get the car when I deserved it but what it taught me is to work hard and get it myself because this world doesn't owe me anything. I am not co dependent on anyone but GOD.
So if my parents wasn't there I could think outside the box without someone else doing it for me.

Help me to understand...
Help me to understand somethings..
I have been watching my friends and family with their kids and it leaves me with some questions.
1. What age do we let our kids decide whats best for them?
Ex. Do I have to goto Church?
2. What age do we allow your kids to date?
3. Can your kids really handle attention from the opposite sex no matter the opposite sex age?
Speak on it....
