This movie gets thumbs up all around. Let's face the facts this movie is a must see for everyone not just kids. This movie was right up my alley it spoke directly to my heart.
The movie is about an underdog snail who kicks into overdrive when he miraculously attains the power of super-speed. But after making fast friends with a crew of streetwise, tricked-out es-car-goes, Turbo learns that no one succeeds on their own. So he puts his heart and shell on the line to help his pals achieve their dreams, before Turbo-charging his own impossible dream: winning the Indy 500.
Now the irony of the movie is how can a slow moving snail beat a fast moving race car...
Themes: You can't be successful on your own, He had a dream, In the face of adversity and haters He still triumphed, As LL COOL J said he dared to look foolish to achieve his dream, Even when the chips were down he still moved forward.
Now whoever said just because you come from a certain background or neighborhood this has put limits on you. Take a chance and you just might end up in a place where you dreams will become a reality.
